Villa Puravida is located in Javea. The town of Javea is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. This is a popular holiday resort and is often referred to as the jewel in the crown of Costa Blanca and its easy to see why once you arrive there.

It has one of the best climates in the world enjoying more recorded sunshine per year than any other place in Spain. Thousands of British people have been to Javea and have fallen in love with it straight away and have decided to set up home there. Don’t be mistaken its not one of Spain's biggest tourist centre but Javea offers high quality holiday visitors to all ages.

The town of Javea is situated midway between Valencia and Alicante airports (roughly about an hours drive from each airport) so you can fly into either. The bulk of tourists that come to Javea are either staying self catering hotels or private villas. It’s a very affluent area and doesn’t attract package holiday makers.

If you look at a map of Spain the look for a distinctive triangular landmass jutting out into the Mediterranean halfway down the east coast. Javea is at the tip of that triangle. To locals Javea is known at "Amanacer de Espana" or Dawn of Spain because the sun rises in the east among the first places to catch its rays is Javea. Its a wonderful site if you are up early enough to catch this.

Javea is divided up into three distinctive areas, the old town, the port and Arenal Beach. The old town is the original Javea and is set slightly back off the main coastline, if your interested in Spanish history then we recommend that you take a trip to the old town. Its roughly about 10 minutes car journey away from Villa Puravida.

Then there is the Port in Javea, its still a working fishing port and a delightful place to visit if you want to see a mixture of fishing vessels along with luxury yachts and seafront bars and cafes.

But its the Arenal Beach that attracts the vast majority of holidaymakers, its beautiful sandy beach promenade is lined with bars, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and ice cream shops.
